Operation Manna Inspire Ride

We will operate GB80MAN for the last time on May the 18th at the Operation Manna InSpireRide motorcycle ride in to the IBCC.

If you are a motorcyclist this is a great chance to ride to the IBCC meet us and operate or just have a chat. Please see the InspireRide page for your best route if you wish to join the organised rides and more information.

We expect huge numbers of motorcyclists to take part and many people coming by car to enjoy the day. Get the bike out and also enjoy some radio!

The Operation Manna InSpireRide event isn’t just another charity ride—it’s a chance to make a real difference while honouring the legacy of the Bomber Command heroes who fought for the freedom we enjoy today. This event supports the International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC), a world-class facility dedicated to recognition, remembrance, and reconciliation for those who served in Bomber Command.

The IBCC isn’t just a museum; it’s a tribute to the men and women who risked—and too often gave—their lives. The stories, memories, and sacrifices they left behind are at the heart of the IBCC. It is where we remember them, but also where we celebrate their bravery.

Arriving at the IBCC

Here’s the reality:

During WWII, over one million men and women served in Bomber Command. These heroes came from 60 nations and united to protect the freedom we often take for granted. Today, to the knowledge of the IBCC, fewer than 125 of those million veterans remain. We’re witnessing the final years in which we’ll have the privilege of commemorating their sacrifice for our freedom whilst some are still with us. Sadly, not all of the wonderful veterans in the images for this post, who have joined us at InSpireRide events over the years are still with us. How sad is that?!

That’s why InSpireRide 2025 is more important than ever.

This year, amidst growing global challenges, it’s crucial that we, the motorcycling community, come together to show our respect, remembrance, and solidarity. This may be the last chance to honour some of these veterans in person. Let’s make it count.

The best part? It’s all for a good cause. For just a £10 contribution per bike, you’ll be part of this meaningful event, with every penny going directly to charity. The bulk goes to the IBCC, with smaller portions supporting the Lincolnshire Emergency Blood Bikes Service and the RAF Benevolent Fund. And yes, we’ve kept it at the same price since 2018—because the cause matters more than ever.

Don’t wait. Book your place now and be part of this historic event.
