Lincoln Short Wave Club is a long-established amateur radio club based in the village of Aisthorpe seven miles north of the City of Lincoln.

The Club has been in existence in one form or another for over 100 years. Meeting every Wednesday at 7:30pm ant the club shack. They are also open every Saturday at 10 am for training and operating. There is a regular weekly club net held on two metres every Thursday from 8:00 pm please see our website for details.

They are a very active and friendly club with their own training facilities for those that want to get their amateur licence, or progress further with amateur radio with the clubs Training Officer Les Clark G1LQB.

Their self-contained radio shack is at the side of Aisthorpe Village Hall with facilities for HF, VHF and Data Modes and can be used by any licensed paid-up member of the club if a committee member is also present in the shack.

The Club runs various Special Event Stations through the year and runs its own twice yearly radio rally, the Club also helps to run the National Hamfest (the national amateur radio rally in the UK.)

Regular talks are given on varied topics on a Wednesday evening by club members and guest speakers.
